Included in this post is my initial thoughts and ideas about my Inquiry Project. This post will show you what I was interested in and what I wanted to learn.

 

I like this post because it is 100% me. Everythimg in this is my thoughts put into a blog post. I also enjoy looking back on my old writing because it reminds me that I have learned something!

 

This represents me as a writer becasue I use my own words. It is a very casual piece that describes exactly what I want to learn. 

 

 

 

This is my PERSONAL CREDO

 

I like this piece a lot because it shows exactly what I believe in. People learn and grow due the expirences they grow through. I think that I explain my beliefs clearly and and give examples of how to apply these principles to everyday life.

 

It shows me off as a writer because I effectivly and briefly explain how these apply to my life. 

 

What I learned: I enjoyed this piece because it gave me the opportunity to reflect on my values and ideas.

 

Here you can find my Inquiry Project! This project took me a good amount of time.

 

I thought i did well with incorporating my thoughts with facts and statistical data. It is a rather lengthy project. You can see that I added on to the conversation and included hyperlinks, videos, and pictures. 

 

I enjoyed witing this because this was my first expirence with a digital essay! I have never been given the opportunity to type up an essay and add tons of color and pictures!

 

It represents me. I included different images that relate directly to the writing. I also have hyperlinks everywhere! These are literally just random thought that I had while writing this essay!

MY INFORMAL WRITING
 

Daybooks and forums.. in order to make everyone's lives easier- I have re-typed my daybook entries.

GOOD WRITING RULES-

I chose this piece because it is one of the first things we did in the semester and I remember it very well. We discussed what components made "good writing". I enjoted this discussion because it set up the entire semester. It's not always all about the gramatical stuff- it's about being yourself.

 

 

2/18

This entry I talk about how my essay needs work. I list some suggestions my classmates gave me and I talk about how I can incoroporate them into my writing. I like these kind of entries because then I can look back when I make my revisions and remember how I need to improve my paper.

 

 

2/20

Here I talk about the peer-review process. I enjoy in-class review a lot better than online-review. This daybook represents me becasue it shows my thought process thought the review process. I have learned to love it.

 

3/14

In this daybook, I breifly discuss gender roles and how the media creates them. I think that they bombard Americans and influence our children. I like this piece because I have never thought too much about this topic. I really enjoyed the discussion we had in class that day.

 

IDEA #2

I like this enrty because it is one of the ideas I was considering for my This I Believe Essay. Even thought I never used this idea, I love how I can write anything in my daybook. I planned out what exactly I could have written about and didn't even use it. It is interesting to look back in my daybook and see what I was thinking at the time.
